April 1st, 2024 was the chosen implementation date for EVV requirements for home health services (and other related services) performed in the state of Michigan. Michigan selected HHAeXchange as its EVV aggregator, additionally allowing providers to select their own EVV system so long as that system meets the integration and data requirements of sending/receiving visit data to the HHAeXchange system using electronic data interchange (EDI). The sole requirement is, the system must collect all six data elements as required by the 21st Century CURES Act. As an approved alternate EVV system for Michigan, Alora captures this information for you.
